Authenticated takeover through improper access control
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle Identity Manager 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to take over the service via HTTP. Oracle attributes the flaw to the OIM Legacy UI, but public records do not identify the affected endpoint or the authorization check it fails to enforce. Reachability requires low-privileged application access over the network and no user interaction; successful exploitation yields full confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact on the Identity Manager instance.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
