Out-of-bounds write in Rockwell Automation Arena Simulation 16.20.08 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via DOE files. The DOE parser fails to validate user-supplied data before writing it past the end of an allocated object. Exploitation requires a legitimate user to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, and resulting code runs in the current process.
