CVE-2026-6070Network attack vector

Unauthenticated file deletion via unsanitized filename traversal

Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026

Arbitrary file deletion in CMSJunkie WP-BusinessDirectory 4.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete server files via a request. With _path_type=2, the upload.remove route passes the RAW _filename value through makePathFile(), which preserves ../ sequences, before remove() invokes PHP unlink(). No account or user interaction is required, and deletion is limited to files writable by the web-server process.
