Low-privilege data access and modification
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle General Ledger 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify data via HTTP. Oracle has disclosed only the affected Internal Operations component and has not published the request path, function, or validation failure that grants broader ledger access to low-privileged accounts. Exploitation requires valid low-privilege application credentials and network reachability to the HTTP-exposed application, and Oracle rates the availability impact as partial rather than full service takeover.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
