Sensitive traffic interception via missing transport encryption
Published Apr 20, 2026 · Updated Apr 20, 2026
Cleartext transmission in ConnectWise Automate Solution Center before 2026.4 allows remote authenticated users to intercept traffic. Affected Solution Center client-to-server connections use port 8484 without transport-layer encryption instead of requiring HTTPS. Reachability is limited to on-premises deployments and requires low-privileged access; interception exposes traffic and permits limited modification without interrupting service.
