Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Connector/J 9.7.0 through 9.7.1 allows remote attackers to hang or repeatedly crash clients. Oracle identifies the X Protocol component but has not published the resource-release operation or input condition that triggers failure. Exploitation requires unauthenticated network access and interaction by another person; the reported consequence is client availability loss only.
