Authenticated data compromise and service interruption
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Access-control flaw in Oracle MySQL Connector/J 9.7.0 through 9.7.1 allows remote authenticated users to compromise connector data. Oracle identifies the MySQL Protocol as the exposure but has not published the affected function or the incorrect operation performed on protocol input. Low-privileged network access is required; successful exploitation permits data access or modification and a partial service interruption.
