Improper authentication in Oracle PeopleSoft Research Tracking 9.2.38 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify student records. Oracle has not published the affected endpoint or the operation that incorrectly authenticates or authorizes Research Tracking requests. Low-privileged HTTPS access is sufficient to read all accessible data and create, delete, or modify critical data, without affecting availability.
