Web interface denial of service via malformed SSID

Improper output encoding in Zyxel WRE6505 v2 firmware V1.00(ABDV.3)C0 allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt its web interface. The CGI program renders a malformed WLAN SSID without proper encoding or escaping when the AP Select page lists nearby access points, causing the management interface to fail. An authenticated administrator must open that page while the attacker-controlled SSID is present; the reported consequence is limited to denial of service in the interface.
