Authenticated data alteration and partial service interruption
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Access control weakness in Oracle Content Manager 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 allows remote authenticated users to alter and read data via HTTP. Oracle has not published the operation in the Cover Letter component that fails to enforce the required access restriction on untrusted requests. A low-privileged account is sufficient; successful exploitation is limited to reading a subset of accessible data, changing or deleting some accessible data, and partially interrupting the service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
