Authenticated service takeover
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Access control failure in Oracle WebCenter Sites 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to take over the service via HTTP. Oracle identifies only the WebCenter Sites component and does not disclose the affected endpoint or the operation that mishandles an authenticated request. Low-privileged access is required, and successful exploitation grants control of WebCenter Sites with impact beyond its security scope.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
