Unauthenticated data modification and service disruption
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle Identity Manager Connectors 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0 allows physically proximate attackers to alter data. Oracle identifies the Generic Unix Connector and LDAP but has not disclosed the flawed operation or how access controls fail on untrusted traffic. Exploitation requires no credentials or user interaction but access to the attached communication segment; it enables critical data creation, deletion, or modification and can hang or repeatedly crash the service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
