Authenticated directory-data read and write
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Access control failure in OUD Core in Oracle Unified Directory allows remote authenticated users to read and alter directory data via LDAP. Oracle has not disclosed the faulty OUD Core authorization check or the LDAP operation that fails to enforce it. On 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0, low-privileged LDAP access is sufficient to read, create, delete, or modify critical or complete accessible directory data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
