Privilege escalation in Oracle HTTP Server 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 allows local users to take over the server process. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as the Core component and has not disclosed the flawed operation or the input that reaches it. Exploitation requires a low-privileged logon to the host where Oracle HTTP Server runs; success grants control of the server and all server-accessible data.
