Unauthenticated LDAP-triggered service hang or crash
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Denial of service in OUD Core in Oracle Unified Directory 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0 allows remote attackers to hang or crash LDAP. Oracle has not disclosed which LDAP request or OUD Core operation mishandles input, consistent with its policy of publishing only risk-matrix details. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful requests cause repeatable directory-service interruption without reported data exposure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
