Improper access control in Oracle Unified Directory 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to take over the directory via LDAP. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as OUD Core and has not disclosed the access-control operation that mishandles LDAP requests. A low-privileged LDAP account is sufficient, and successful exploitation grants control of directory confidentiality, integrity, and availability while affecting connected products.
