Authenticated read and modification of directory data
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle Unified Directory 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify directory data. Oracle identifies OUD Core and LDAP as the affected component and protocol but has not published the access-control operation that mishandles authorization. A low-privileged LDAP account is required; successful exploitation exposes critical or all accessible directory data and permits some updates, inserts, or deletions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
