Authenticated security-service takeover
Published Jul 22, 2026 · Updated Jul 22, 2026
Oracle Platform Security for Java 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to take over OPSS via SOAP. Oracle identifies Centralized Thirdparty Jars as the component but has not disclosed the affected library, code locus, or unsafe operation applied to SOAP input. Low-privileged credentials and network access to a SOAP endpoint are required; successful exploitation grants control over the affected security service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
