Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized fname value
Published Apr 10, 2026 · Updated Apr 10, 2026
SQL injection in CodeAstro Online Classroom 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data via the fname field. The updatedetailsfromstudent.php handler inserts the POST fname value directly into an SQL query without cleaning, validation, or parameter binding. A low-privilege application session is required, and demonstrated boolean-, error-, and time-based payloads expose query results or delay database processing.
