Database access via unsanitized category parameter
Published Apr 10, 2026 · Updated Apr 10, 2026
SQL injection in Code Projects Simple IT Discussion Forum 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data via a crafted category POST value. The add-category-function.php handler places the category value directly into an SQL query without neutralization or parameter binding. No login is required, and a time-based blind payload confirms query control that permits unauthorized reading, alteration, or deletion of database data.
