Unauthenticated service hang or repeated crash
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Denial of service in Oracle Coherence Core allows remote attackers to hang or repeatedly crash affected releases via TCP. Oracle has not disclosed the Core code path or the malformed TCP input that triggers the failure, and its disclosure policy limits technical details to the security notice. Network access without authentication is sufficient; the reported consequence is loss of availability in 12.2.1.4.0, 14.1.1.0.0, 14.1.2.0.0, and 15.1.1.0.0, with no reported data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
