High-privilege replication service interruption
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Server and MySQL Cluster replication allows remote authenticated users to cause a hang or repeated crash. Oracle has not published the replication code path or malformed operation that triggers the failure. Exploitation requires high privileges, network access through the MySQL protocol, and high complexity; the consequence is limited to service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=8.4.0-8.4.10
- Affected versionversion=9.7.0-9.7.1
