Unauthorized subset data disclosure
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Information disclosure in Oracle Java SE 8u491 JavaFX allows remote attackers to read a subset of accessible data via untrusted code. Oracle has not published the flawed JavaFX locus or the operation it performs incorrectly on attacker-controlled input. Exploitation requires a user to run untrusted Java Web Start or applet code in a deployment that relies on the Java sandbox; trusted-code servers are not affected.
