CVE-2026-6015Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated stack corruption via oversized PPPoE password

Published Apr 10, 2026 · Updated Apr 10, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC9 15.03.02.13 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt stack memory via a POST request. The formQuickIndex handler passes attacker-controlled PPPOEPassword data to sub_4F7C0, which copies it into a fixed 72-byte stack array without a length check. Low-privilege access to the web interface is required; the published proof of concept submits 1,000 bytes but does not demonstrate code execution.
