CVE-2026-60084Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file deletion via unrestricted removeTemplate path

Published Aug 22, 2026 · Updated Aug 22, 2026

Arbitrary file deletion in SiYuan before 3.7.4 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to delete host files and directories. The /api/search/removeTemplate handler forwards the client-supplied path unchanged through model.RemoveTemplate and filelock.Remove to os.RemoveAll, without a base-directory restriction. Administrator authentication is required, and any reachable absolute path is recursively removed within the kernel process's filesystem permissions.
