Heap buffer over-read in the MQTT filter module in F5 NGINX Plus allows remote attackers to restart an NGINX worker process. F5 identifies ngx_stream_mqtt_filter_module as the locus but has not disclosed which MQTT field or length operation reads past the heap buffer. Exploitation requires the optional MQTT filter configuration and conditions beyond attacker control; the reported effect is a data-plane worker restart without control-plane exposure.
