Out-of-bounds write in AutomationDirect Productivity Suite 4.6.2.2 and earlier allows local users to corrupt kernel memory via an IOCTL. The undisclosed kernel component accepts a crafted IOCTL request and writes beyond its intended buffer, corrupting adjacent kernel memory. Low privileges and local access are required; successful exploitation grants higher privileges or destabilizes the Windows engineering workstation.
