Authenticated media upload via missing permission check
Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026
Improper access control in ThemeXpert Quix Page Builder Pro 1.0 through 6.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to upload media files. The administrative media manager endpoint accepts upload requests without performing the explicit media-management permission check required by Joomla. Any authenticated account that can reach the endpoint can add media despite lacking media-management rights; no further consequence is publicly documented.
