Observable response discrepancy in Eclipse Milo 0.6.0 through 1.1.4 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to recover user passwords. AbstractUsernameIdentityValidator exposes different OPC UA status codes for RSA PKCS#1 v1.5 padding failures and rejected credentials during ActivateSession. Exploitation requires a captured Basic128Rsa15 username token and repeated unauthenticated oracle queries; the recovered password permits authentication as the victim.
