Memory disclosure or worker restart via uninitialized access

Use of uninitialized memory in F5 NGINX Open Source and NGINX Plus allows remote attackers to disclose memory or restart workers. The ngx_http_slice_module worker path accesses memory before initialization when slice processing interacts with unnamed regex captures or a background cache update. Unauthenticated network requests reach the flaw only when the nondefault slice module and affected configuration are present; impact is limited to memory disclosure or a worker restart, with no control-plane exposure.
