Database disclosure via web-accessible SQL backup
Published Apr 10, 2026 · Updated Apr 10, 2026
Information disclosure in Code Projects Online Library Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to download its database via HTTP. The distributed sql/library.sql dump remains beneath the web root, and the server serves the .sql file directly without authentication or access-control rules. An unauthenticated request to /Library/sql/library.sql exposes the schema, administrator credential hash, user records, and borrowing data; no write or service-interruption impact is established.
