Missing authentication in MySQL MCP Server before 0.4.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through the SSE transport. server.py constructs SseServerTransport without security settings, leaves three Starlette routes unauthenticated, and passes attacker-controlled queries to cursor.execute. Exposure requires SSE mode; stdio is unaffected, and file access or code execution additionally requires MySQL FILE privileges.
