Authenticated credential disclosure via incomplete path denylist
Published Jul 9, 2026 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Arbitrary file read in SiYuan before 3.7.1 allows remote authenticated users to exfiltrate host credential files through the file API. The globalCopyFiles handler accepts absolute source paths, while IsSensitivePath applies an incomplete prefix denylist that omits common home-directory credential files. Administrator or API-token access is required, and exposed secrets are limited to files readable by the SiYuan kernel account.
