Administrator code execution via log-report stack overflow
Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Fortinet FortiOS, FortiPAM, FortiProxy, and FortiSASE allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The flaw resides in the Log & Report component, but Fortinet has not identified the HTTP field or memory-copy operation that overruns the stack. Exploitation requires a privileged authenticated account, crafted HTTP requests, and bypasses of stack protection and ASLR; success runs arbitrary code or commands.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=26.1.1 <=26.1.2
