CVE-2026-59835Network attack vector

Unauthenticated scan VM access through exposed VNC

Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026

Resource exposure in Fortinet FortiSandbox 4.4.3 through 4.4.8 and 5.0.0 through 5.0.2 allows remote attackers to access scan VM VNC servers. Fortinet identifies the flaw as exposure of the VNC resource to the wrong network sphere but has not disclosed the responsible service, function, or configuration logic. The network request requires no authentication or user interaction; the published record does not define what actions VNC access permits within a scanning VM.
