CVE-2026-5983Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Memory corruption via unchecked DDNS time value

Published Apr 9, 2026 · Updated Apr 9, 2026

Buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-605L 2.13B01 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory through a crafted DDNS POST request. The formSetDDNS handler at /goform/formSetDDNS processes an oversized curTime value without enforcing the destination buffer's bounds. Low-privileged access to the router's web management interface is required, and public sources do not establish a specific post-overflow outcome.
