Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked curTime input
Published Apr 9, 2026 · Updated Apr 9, 2026
Buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-605L 2.13B01 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted curTime POST parameter. The formAdvNetwork handler at /goform/formAdvNetwork copies the attacker-controlled curTime value without checking its size, overflowing the destination buffer. Administrative access to the router interface is required; successful exploitation compromises the router process’s confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
