Missing authentication in 9Router 0.4.41 and earlier allows remote attackers to manage AI provider connections through dashboard APIs. Next.js routes under src/app/api/providers perform provider CRUD operations without invoking authentication middleware. No credentials or user interaction are required to read stored tokens, redirect routed AI traffic, or delete every provider connection and interrupt service.
