Authentication bypass in Apache CloudStack 4.18.0.0 through 4.20.3.0 and 4.21.0.0 through 4.22.1.0 allows attackers to disable 2FA. The two-factor authentication plugin's disable flow omits the privilege check that should authorize removal of an account's second factor. Apache has not disclosed the request parameters or account state needed to reach the flow; successful exploitation removes the affected account's second-factor requirement.
