Super Admin XSS via unchecked OAuth URL
Published Oct 5, 2026 · Updated Oct 5, 2026
Stored XSS in Zabbix 7.4.0 through 7.4.11 allows attackers to run JavaScript as a Super Admin via an imported email media type. The email media type OAuth form passes the stored Authorization endpoint to window.open() without rejecting a javascript: scheme, so the browser executes the supplied code. Exploitation requires a Super Admin to import or open a crafted media type and initiate OAuth consent; the code runs in that administrator's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
