CVE-2026-59786Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Host availability falsification via unchecked agent heartbeat

Published Oct 5, 2026 · Updated Oct 5, 2026

Authentication bypass in Zabbix Server and Proxy 7.0.0 through 7.0.28 and 7.4.0 through 7.4.12 lets remote attackers falsify host availability. The active-check heartbeat handler accepts a host-named heartbeat without enforcing that host's configured PSK or certificate authentication. An attacker must reach the trapper port and know a host name with active checks; the reported availability can then be false without changing the host itself.
