Credential inference via hidden host search filters
Published Oct 5, 2026 · Updated Oct 5, 2026
Zabbix Frontend 6.0.0 through 6.0.47, 7.0.0 through 7.0.28, and 7.4.0 through 7.4.12 lets remote authenticated users infer host credentials. Frontend host search filters on undisplayed IPMI and PSK credential fields, so a matching result confirms a guessed value without displaying the field. Exploitation requires host read access and access to the frontend from an adjacent network; the disclosed effect is credential inference, not direct credential listing.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Activity data is delayed. The latest report is Sep 28, 2026.
