Path traversal in rclone before 1.74.4 allows attackers to create or overwrite sibling objects via a crafted archive. ArchiveExtract takes f.NameInArchive, strips only a leading ./, and passes unresolved parent components through path.Join before Rcat writes the result. Exploitation requires a user to run rclone archive extract on an attacker-supplied archive, and the write remains bounded by the configured remote credentials and bucket or path scope.
