Internal data disclosure via unvalidated gallery URL
Published Jul 7, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
SSRF in LocalAI 4.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to make the server fetch internal URLs through POST /models/apply. The installModelFromRemoteConfig path passes an unvalidated gallery URL to gallery.GetGalleryConfigFromURLWithContext, which performs an HTTP GET without excluding private or loopback addresses. Default Docker deployments expose the endpoint without authentication, and failed YAML parsing can return approximately 30 bytes of the fetched response in job errors.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
