BACnet service interruption via malformed packet handling
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Denial of service in Siemens Desigo DXR2 and PXC controllers allows attackers to interrupt BACnet query processing. The BACnet request handler fails to reject a malformed packet and leaves the device unable to answer subsequent BACnet queries. Remote attackers on an adjacent BACnet network can trigger the condition, and service remains unavailable until the controller is reset or rebooted.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
