Authenticated file deletion via path traversal
Published Apr 20, 2026 · Updated Apr 20, 2026
Path traversal in TeamT5 ThreatSonar Anti-Ransomware 4.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary files. TWCERT/CC and TeamT5 have not identified the affected web handler or disclosed how attacker-controlled paths escape its intended directory. Web-interface access and a valid account are required; deletion can alter system data or interrupt service, while file reading is not reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
