CVE-2026-59654Network attack vector

Management-server DoS via leaked database connections

Published Aug 21, 2026 · Updated Aug 21, 2026

Resource leak in Apache CloudStack 4.7.0 through 4.20.3.0 and 4.21.0.0 through 4.22.1.0 allows attackers to interrupt management-server operations. The scoped global configuration path retains database connections beyond their effective lifetime across management-server modules and plugins, including Quota and Host-HA. Network reachability, low privileges, active user interaction, and specific attack conditions are required before accumulated connections exhaust capacity and stop management operations.
