CVE-2026-59546Network attack vector

Cross-account 2FA bypass via unbound settings

Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026

Authorization bypass in Squirrly Limited WP Ghost 7.0.06 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter another account's 2FA. The 2FA settings handlers fail to bind the selected account to the requester, exposing authenticator, email-code, backup-code, and passkey controls. Subscriber access is sufficient to change another account's second-factor configuration, but the flaw does not itself disclose that account's password.
