Application freeze via modal dialog reentry

Denial of service in affected Foxit PDF Editor and Reader versions allows attackers to freeze the interface through a crafted PDF action chain. A document action chain reenters a modal dialog on the main thread without terminating the control-flow cycle, leaving the user interface unresponsive. Opening the document on Windows is required; affected releases include Editor 13.2.3 and earlier, 14.0.3 and earlier, and 2026.1 and earlier, plus Reader 2026.1 and earlier, and the reported consequence is an application freeze rather than data access or code execution.
