Open redirect via insufficient request_uri validation
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Open redirect in Spring Authorization Server 1.5.0 through 1.5.7 allows remote attackers to redirect users via crafted authorization requests. The authorization endpoint accepts an invalid request_uri alongside an arbitrary redirect_uri without validating the redirect target. Exploitation requires a user to follow the crafted authorization flow; the resulting redirect sends that user to an attacker-controlled site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
